Trade In Policy

NEW POLICY - We will buy back any RPG item you purchase from us for 70% of the purchase price in TRADE CREDIT. Item(s) must have been purchased from The Dragon's Trove to qualify for this level of buyback. Please reference the original order number when requesting this.  Items that will qualify for this must have been purchased starting with our new invoicing system that was implemented in October 2004.

Trade in that old stuff for new! The Dragon's Trove is in need of multiple copies of the following items and is giving fairly generous trade credit towards the purchase of any item in our web site or an item I can order from one of our suppliers (even if you don't see it listed). If it is still in stock at a distributor, then I am most likely willing to trade it to you. This includes all new or in print RPG items, Current Magic or other Collectible Card Games (by whole box only), board games and some miniature lines. The amount listed below is for NEAR MINT copies that only have the slightest wear. A slightly higher amount can be given for items still in the shrink wrap. I may be interested in more worn copies of some of the items, but I will need a good description to quote what I would be willing to give.  I do pay cash for products, but those amounts will be less than what is listed below.

These are not the only items that I buy, but are my most needed items. If you have something that seems interesting, feel free to run it by me. Odds are that it is worth a few bucks in trade. I am always willing to buy in bulk cheaply priced supplements, manuals, dice, boxed sets, etc. that I can use for my convention stock.

Rules of the Game

• Credit will be issued upon final approval of condition AFTER the goods are received. Defects not noted in original description will cause a decrease in the amount issued. This offer is good for multiple copies and I am willing to take a large number of most of these items, so if you have them, send them to me. Additional notes at the end of the page.
• The cost of shipping to me is the responsibility of the person sending the items. Items received in return will be shipped to you at no expense. Take out insurance if you do not want to risk damage of the goods. For proof that I received them, send them certified return receipt.
• Under no circumstances will credit amounts be converted to cash. However, I will pay out SMALL balances left over from an order at my discretion at the rate of 50 cents cash per dollar of credit.
• I can provide as many trade references as you would like to see upon request, 10 years in business, not about to risk that reputation.
• Please send a listing with an accurate description of condition before sending the items. Once I receive this, I will give final approval, a tentative trade quote, and give you shipping instructions. Please indicate what items you are looking to get at this time. I will tell you if something is not available.
• Once the item(s) are received, I will gather what you wanted in return and send off the merchandise or the payment.
